Nicole was such a fun young lady to work with! She has a great sense of style, and knew exactly what she wanted her senior portrait session to look like.
Nicole’s session was a day-long affair. We met at the salon for hair and makeup, then started her session in the studio. At first, she was a little nervous and unsure, but by the end, she was showing me poses she wanted to try and her personality came shining through. Her family came with her, and they relaxed in our guest lounge and watched some Netflix while we did several outfit changes!
Next was lunch, and it was a nice addition to the session. Eating and connecting with her family was a new experience for me during a session, but it certainly makes for happy (not hungry) clients and is a great way to build strong relationships.
We finished up the session downtown and, man, was it chilly! You can’t tell from the portraits though, and that’s what counts! 😉
In a few weeks, I will see Nicole and her family for her reveal session and I simply cannot wait. Nicole is going into the Air Force after graduation, and I know these portraits will be cherished while she is away! Her dad is currently deployed and I really hoping the timing works out for a quick family shot before Nicole leaves for Basic Training!
