I believe that portraits are the products of stories. From the teenager who is about to graduate high school, to the woman who is celebrating 30. To the couple that is getting married, to the woman that is newly divorced, each of my clients have one thing in common, they have a story that they want to share, though they may lack the words to tell it. They have a story that they want captured, documented, preserved, for all time.
I have had the great privilege of getting to hear stories from clients from all walks of life, and honoring these stories has become such an integral part of my business and brand.
Portraiture is about so much more than professional hair and makeup and beautiful gowns (although the pampering sure is fun!). It’s about letting yourself be seen, truly, as you have always wanted to be seen. Portraiture is a celebration of beauty, it is a celebration of strength, of courage, of new beginnings, of love, of family and friends, of confidence.
